Another Nothing New Old Cloth Doll~OOAK~SOLD

Her body was made using an old flannel sheet. The attached head and shoulder plate was made using cotton sheets. I stuffed the doll with cedar sawdust and coffee stained her a bit. Her neck, arms and legs are tied at the joints with macrame cord. She has several hand sewn stitched on patches on her arm and a few stitches on arms and legs. The hair was created using macrame cord and vintage buttons. She has pinched nose and painted eyes and mouth. These were sanded down a bit to give it some age. Her dress was made with an old cotton shirt. I sewed one of the top seams inside out as if it had been repaired by hand. I addes some old cotton eyelit trim to the bottom of her dress. It is held in a couple spots with rusty safety pins. She needed a patch on her dress so that was stitched on and held at the top with a rusty safety pin. Vintage buttons were added to the front of her dress. So....voila, my little Sadie is complete. She measures 21 inches tall. :o)Has now moved to CA. my auctions

Primitive Folk Art Angel Devil Witch Art Doll~OOAK~SOLD

Oh, I love the way this little baby witch turned out. She is showing all her true colors! She's a little witch who can be such an angel at times and at other times....ahhh....you know how it is with these little ones sometimes. :o) She was made of muslin fabric with lycra skin overlay on the face so that there isn't any center seam showing. Lots of sculpting to make her cute. She has brown acrylic eyes, sheeps wool for hair and painted mouth. She now lives in TX.

Primitive Witch Legend doll~OOAK~SOLD

Someone emailed me and told me about the witch legend which I thought was very interesting so I asked her if I could use her description for my next witch. Thanks Gerri!
The women of olde (witches who were burned, not in this country) were battered and bruised, teeth knocked out, dragged by wagons and were unrecognizable. They were so sick they were a shade of green. Well, this gal is a shade of green, teeth missing and a bit bruised. She is still recognizable though. :o) I made her using muslin fabric, coffee stained her and added a touch of light green color to her skin tone. Lots of attention to detail in her soft sculptured facial features. She has now moved to CT.:o)

And The Dish Ran Away with the Spoon~Nursery Rhyme Dolls~SOLD

Just completed a doll set for our group challenge in (SoATP) Sisterhood of all Things Primitive group. Our challenge was to create Nursery Rhyme dolls so I thought I'd put together a Dish and Spoon. The heads are made of wood and they have muslin bodies. With paint and coffee staining, I captured just what I wanted them to be. :o) They are now moving to WA. :o)

This little witch measures 32 inches tall. She went for a glamour photo shoot and was sold on the spot.....never made it to ebay. Made of muslin fabric, soft sculptured and coffee stained. Fabric Art Doll with paper clay Flame hair~OOAK~SOLD

Just had to make another art doll with paper clay hair. This doll is made of muslin fabric and painted with acrylics. Her ears and hair are sculpted with paper clay then painted to make it the flame part of a candle. She sits on a vintage candle holder and wears a tea stained doily skirt with lace for the top. Meet Agnus.....a 32 inch cloth witch doll. She was made of muslin fabric, coffee stained to give her a prim look. I painted her facial features with acrylic paints and shadowed with watercolor pencils. One of her eyes was painted to look like glass with gloss 3-D sealer. Her hang tag reads "I'm too sexy for this dress." LOL She can hang on the wall or sit in your favorite location. Agnus has now moved to Germany!

Completed my version of a wicked witch. She is made of muslin fabric and coffee stained. This gal's name is Giselle. She has soft sculptured facial features painted with acrylics and shadowed with watercolor pencils. I painted one of her eyes to look like a glass eye. She's so ugly, she's adorable! Primitive Witch doll with twins!~OOAK~SOLD

I felt like making a little family of witches so here are Momma Freda and twins Freddie and Sadie. Nope....the twins are not identical. :o) All three were made of muslin fabric and coffee stained to give them a primitive look. They have soft sculptured facial features, painted with acrylics and shadowed with watercolor pencils. Freda has wired fingers and wrists with painted on spiderweb gloves and stockings. The little ones look a little grungy since they were out playing in the Moon Mud! LOL Lots of detail into this adorable set. They have now moved to IL to be with others that were sold previously. :o)
