Folk Art Angel Painting Mixed Media





Mixed Media Angel on 16 x 20 canvas. "Angel Of Love." I used a painting knife to add lots of texture to the background of the painting. Other materials used were acrylic paints, modeling paste on the dress and one of the hearts. Religious reading in the second heart and fabric for the third. The angel holds a small heart and has the word "Love" painted along the right side of the painting. This painting was painted all along the edges also and is ready for you to hang. Can now be purchased in my Etsy shop.

Primitive Easter Witch


I made this witch to match a wall that someone had painted in their house. I like the way she turned out. :o) The dress has flowers just like the texture on the wall does. :o) This gal has now moved to Il.

Alabama Baby Repro Doll~Cloth over Clay~OOAK




Thanks to Deanna Hogan's (blueherondolls)cloth over clay tutorial, I was able to create this adorable one of a kind doll! She measures 18 inches tall and made of muslin fabric. The head is made of polymar clay and covered with a cotton knit fabric. Ears were applied and the head was gessoed and sanded a few times, then painted with acrylics. The hands have attached thumbs and were gessoed and painted. The legs were also done in the same way as the arms. They have painted on stockings and shoes. The painted areas were sealed with a matte sealer.

I made her outfit using vintage old fabric. The fabric colors were slightly faded in some areas which makes this doll look vintage. Perfect outfit for this little gal. Her pantaloons are trimmed in lace to match her dress, hat and pinafore. All clothing are removable. She is still for sale on etsy.com

Fabric Art Doll with paper clay Flame hair~OOAK~SOLD




Just had to make another art doll with paper clay hair. This doll is made of muslin fabric and painted with acrylics. Her ears and hair are sculpted with paper clay then painted to make it the flame part of a candle. She sits on a vintage candle holder and wears a tea stained doily skirt with lace for the top. Meet Sophie....she measures 32 inches tall and was made of muslin fabric. Her facial features were soft sculptured and painted with acrylics then stained to give her a prim look. Lots of detail to this one of a kind art doll. All her clothing and shoes are removable too. She has now moved to UT. :o)

Baby Witch called the Tooth Witch~OOAK~SOLD


Here is a picture of Baby Abra Cadabra. She is a tooth collector and carries her moon and tooth bag. Lots of detail in this one of a kind cloth doll. Sculptured facial features, individual wired fingers, toes, ears and diaper! LOL She turned out just too adorable. Abra Cadabra has now moved to NJ. She will love it there since so many of her relatives have moved to the same place! :o)

Black Widow Catrina~Primitive Cat Doll~OOAK~SOLD



Here we have Catrina, the black widow.....just loves spiders! She is made of muslin fabric, coffee stained and painted in a few places. :o) This little gal measures 28" tall. Catrina still lives in Maine.....Southern Maine that is.....hope she doesn't try to find her way back home! LOL :o)

Primitive Witch Doll~Too sexy for her dress~Sold



Meet Agnus.....a 32 inch cloth witch doll. She was made of muslin fabric, coffee stained to give her a prim look. I painted her facial features with acrylic paints and shadowed with watercolor pencils. One of her eyes was painted to look like glass with gloss 3-D sealer. Her hang tag reads "I'm too sexy for this dress." LOL She can hang on the wall or sit in your favorite location. Agnus has now moved to Germany!

Good Witch Iown~OOAK~Soft scupltured art doll~SOLD



Meet Iown! She measures 32 inches tall from tip of hat to bottom of boots and is ready for the Halloween dance, dressed in black with gold belt and purse. She even has a moon and stars necklace with earrings and purse shoulder strap to match. :o) This little gal is made of muslin fabric with painted bodice and facial features. Primitive Witch with her twins~Cookie Cauldron~SOLD



Just completed a set of little witches. We have Cherina, the mom witch and her twins Buckie and Nookie. Nope....they aren't identical. :o) I named the momma witch Cherina because she reminded me of Cher!!!! LOL These three adorable little witches are made of muslin fabric, coffee stained just a bit and have soft sculptured facial features. The twins have their hands in the cookie cauldron!!!! This little trio has now moved to PA!

Primitive Wicked Witch of the North~OOAK~SOLD



Completed my version of a wicked witch. She is made of muslin fabric and coffee stained. This gal's name is Giselle. She has soft sculptured facial features painted with acrylics and shadowed with watercolor pencils. I painted one of her eyes to look like a glass eye. She's so ugly, she's adorable! LOL Giselle has now moved out west to California! Will miss you Giselle! :o)

Good Witch Gertie~OOAK Witch Doll~SOLD



Just completed my little Gertie. She's a good witch and loves to go shopping! She's all decked out and ready to go out on the town! Made of muslin fabric, this little 32" gal has soft sculptured facial features, wired fingers and wrists. She was coffee stained with an even tone so that she doesn't look too primitive. Facial features were painted with acrylic paints and so were her gloves, stockings and bodice. Gertie can be displayed in seating position or hung on the wall. Gertie has now moved to Canada! I will miss her. :o(

Primitive Witch Doll with her Baby~OOAK~SOLD



Love the way this set turned out. Here is Edith (30 inches tall) and her baby Samantha (9 inches tall.) They are both made of muslin fabric, coffee stained and baked to give them a primitive look. Samantha is looking up at her momma and thinking of how beautiful her momma is! :o)
They have now moved to Wisconsin.

Here are my lastest little gals, Rosie and Prunella. Rosie has rose print overlay on her tea stained skirt. The dolls were made of muslin fabric, tea stained and painted with acrylics. They measure 30 inches tall. Rosie and Prunella have moved out of state. I will miss them. :o)
