A repeated buyer of my dolls had requested that I make a witch doll for her mom who always loves to sit outside on Halloween day to give treats to the kids. I received a photo of this lovely lady who will be 83 years old next week. She holds her little witch named Clemencia (which is also her name.) They look so adorable together!!!! Thanks Maria for sending the picture and allowing me post it here for all to see. :o)
Thanks Judy for having Mom on your blog and for making her beautiful doll.....I always new that one of us was going to be famous.....Good for Mom...
ReplyDeleteI love those faces -- could just pinch 'em both!!! Great work, Judy! And Maria, your Mom is precious. So are you... for making her a star!!

Judy,
ReplyDeleteHow sweet, i would have LOVED to gone to her house as a child. She looks like she belongs in the movies, as the nice witch. I do Love your dolls, too! Thank You for creating me a boot for my Izannah Walker doll!!!! This will be a first for me. I am not sure how i am going to do this as I had just found out that i was creating the dolls feet wrong, back to the drawing board, as I cut the wrong feet of and am going to add the right style, which the boots will fit! : )
Hugs,
Jackie
I would LOVE to have gone to her house too. She seems like such a sweet lady. If NJ wasn't so far away, I'd stop by and introduce myself. :o)
ReplyDeleteYou'll do great with your Izannah doll!
Hugs,
Judy
Thank You Judy!!!! If I dont use the shoe pattern on this doll( I think she's going to be a leggless doll maybe a pincushion, i will definately use them on my next one, and I am going to hate cuting her leggys off! EEEK!!!
